Penn State Scranton will be closed Wednesday, January 25. All classes, activities and offices are closed. Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Thursday, January 26. Essential staff are to report as regularly scheduled.
Recent graduate Trusha Patel and senior Joseph Krishanda were the recipients of the annual Chancellor's Service Award for Student Workers, which is awarded by Penn State Scranton Chancellor Marwan Wafa. They received their awards at the campus' Spring Assembly earlier this month.
Penn State Scranton will host its annual Designer Purse Bingo on Sunday, Feb. 5, in the campus’ Multipurpose Building (gymnasium). Doors open at 1 p.m., with regular games of bingo starting at 3 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. All proceeds benefit the campus' THON fundraising efforts.
