Penn State Scranton's CARE Team was established to help students facing a variety of difficulties, from academic to financial to well-being. Students can be referred to the CARE Team by a faculty, staff member or fellow student.

Braedon Joyce, a fourth-year bachelor of science in nursing student in the Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing at Penn State Scranton, earned first place in the student poster competition at the ninth annual Translating Research into Innovations in Practice Symposium. Joyce was the only undergraduate student presenting at the event.

Student organizers of a car show planned for April 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Penn State Scranton hope to raise at least $2,000 to establish a fund to support mechanical engineering students' participation in national competitions, professional conferences and technical projects.
