Academics

Penn State Scranton offers several options for your educational experience. We offer 12 baccalaureate degrees and 4 associate degrees. You also may begin your first two years of course work for over 160 Penn State majors at our campus, and finish the program at another Penn State location (2 + 2 degree plan). 

No matter where you start, no matter where you finish, your degree will be a Penn State degree, one of the most respected in the country.

Penn State Scranton offers two Nurse Practitioner options through the Penn State College of Nursing. The M.S.N. Nurse Practitioner options enable baccalaureate-prepared nurses to acquire knowledge and clinical practice skills in direct care of individuals, families and aggregate populations.

While a student pursues a baccalaureate degree, the addition of a minor can expand the educational experience.  A minor program may consist of course work in a single area or from several disciplines.
