Career Services

The Career Services Office assists students in developing and identifying career-related goals and plans and offers an array of services to help students determine and clarify their career goals and to help prepare them for the world of work.

The career counselor works with students, alumni and prospective students in the following areas:

  • Career assessment
  • Assistance with career decision making
  • Goal setting
  • Career skill development such as resume and cover letter preparation
  • Networking and interviewing techniques

The Career Services Office posts employment, internship, volunteer and educational opportunities. Meeting with a Career Services counselor can be helpful in organizing and planning your future. A counselor can stimulate your thinking, provide encouragement, respond to your ideas, give you suggestions, teach you strategies for making decisions and help you plan your job search.
