Nursing student presents research at Geisinger conference

Kiernan Riley, an honor’s nursing student at Penn State Worthington Scranton, has been researching end-of-life care and patients living with end-stage heart failure for over a year now with Dr. Michael Evans, PSWS assistant clinical professor. In January, she had the opportunity to present pieces of that research at a conference hosted by Geisinger Medical Center in Danville

Worthington Scranton business professor presents at conference in Australia

Yili Lian, assistant professor of business at Penn State Worthington Scranton, presented his research paper, “Financial Distress and Customer-Supplier Relationships" at the 29th Australasian Finance and Banking Conference in Sydney, Australia in December. The paper studies the role of customer-supplier relationships on suppliers’ financial distress. It was recently accepted by the Journal of Corporate Finance.

Kristen Greene, acting head librarian at Penn State Worthington Scranton, is on a mission to make all students aware of the resources available to them at the campus library. Students can access not only the materials housed in the campus library, but hundreds of databases with thousands of books, journals, and scholarly articles from across the University Library System.
