Dr. Milton Evans named new Nursing Program Coordinator

Dr. Milton Evans has been named program coordinator of Penn State Worthington Scranton's nursing degree program. A 1981 graduate of the Community Medical Center (CMC) School of Nursing, Dr. Evans has been a member of Penn State Worthington's nursing faculty since 2007 and has been the interim nursing program coordinator since August, 2014.

Dr. Mary-Beth Krogh-Jespersen, PSWS Chancellor, announces retirement

Dr. Mary-Beth Krogh-Jespersen, chancellor at Penn State Worthington Scranton, has announced that she will retire effective July 1, 2015 after 15 years of service to Penn State. Dr. Krogh-Jespersen joined Penn State as chancellor at Worthington Scranton in 2000. During her tenure, she helped grow both the campus' academic programs as well as its facilities.

PSWS Nursing student Kelly Kilcoyne wins Nightingale Awards scholarship

Kelly Kilcoyne, an RN to BSN nursing student at Penn State Worthington Scranton, was the Associate Degree recipient of a Nightingale Awards of Pennsylvania scholarship. She was one of only eight recipients in the state to receive one of these scholarships.  Recipients were honored at the 25th Annual Gala on October 24, 2014 at the Radisson Penn Harris Hotel & Convention Center in Camp Hill.
