Movie Night fundraiser to benefit hurricane relief efforts

DUNMORE, Pa. — Penn State Worthington Scranton student clubs — Psychology, ISA, IST, The Blue and White Society and the League of Extraordinary Gamers (LEG) — will host a movie night at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, at the Circle Drive-in, located on Route 6 in Dickson City, in support of hurricane relief efforts.

The movie being shown is "Split", which is about three girls kidnapped by a man diagnosed with 23 distinct personalities. They must try to escape before the apparent emergence of a frightful new, 24th personality.

Tickets are $10 per person, and everyone from the campus and the public is welcome to join. Please invite any and all family, friends and your neighbors to come out and attend this event.

If you are interested in attending this event and would like to purchase  tickets, you can do so by seeing Doug Sellers in Dawson 113. You can also purchase tickets in The View Café in the Study Learning Center.

Come out and help make an impact for hurricane relief efforts and help those who are trying to get back on their feet.

The campus also recently held a clothing drive and collected clothing, blankets and other necessities needed by hurricane victims. Students staff and faculty brought in items, which will be sent to relief agencies to be distributed.
