Students from Penn State Abington, Brandywine, Hazleton, Lehigh Valley, Schuylkill, Worthington Scranton and York showcased 36 posters and exhibits of their scholarly research at the sixth annual Penn State Regional Undergraduate Research Symposium at the campus in Center Valley.
Recognizing Penn State staff for the truly exceptional contributors that they are is the goal of the University Staff Advisory Council’s (USAC) Staff Recognition Awards, held this year on May 3 at the Nittany Lion Inn at University Park.
Rob Notari, a system administrator in the campus' Information Technology Department, has been named the PSWS Employee of the Month for May, 2016.
Notari, a campus alumnus, has been employed at Penn State Worthington Scranton since 1995.
"The Last Thoughts of Gino Merli", a one-man play written by local author Tom Flannery and enacted by local actor Bob Shlesinger, was performed at Penn State Worthington Scranton as part of a series of regional events celebrating Scranton's 150th Anniversary
