The 30th Annual Penn State Scranton Alumni Society/James D. Gallagher Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, June 18 at the Country Club of Scranton. Campus awards honor high-achieving students

Each year, Penn State Scranton honors those individuals from its staff, faculty and student body who have enriched the academic fabric of the campus, with special awards that recognize their accomplishments in select disciplines and/or student leadership and service. The awards are presented each spring at a special dinner honoring the recipients.

Fred Aebli 2018 Atherton Award for Excellence in Teaching

Fred Aebli, information sciences and technology program co-coordinator and lecturer at Penn State Worthington Scranton, was one of this year's recipients of the 2018 George W. Atherton Award for Excellence in Teaching. The award, named after Penn State’s seventh president, honors excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level.
