Penn State Scranton held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 10, 2019 for its new patio. Taking part in ribbon cutting were Penn State Scranton Emeritus Advisory Board Member Maryla Scranton, a campus and University alumnus; former Lt. Gov. William W. Scranton; Penn State Scranton Chancellor Marwan Wafa; and Student Government Association President Emily Scarfo.

Scranton HDFS program to hold first alumni reunion dinner Oct. 10

Given its status as one of the most popular four-year degree programs at Penn State Scranton, the Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) program has built up an impressive alumni network throughout its two-decade-plus history. A celebration seems in order, and on Oct. 10 the program will host its very first HDFS Reunion Dinner.

Popular Bon Jovi tribute band Bon Jersey will serve as the headliner at the Sept. 21 free community concert hosted at Penn State Scranton. The concert is the last event celebrating Penn State Scranton's 50th anniversary.
