A celebration of undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative achievements.
Undergraduate students in all areas of study are invited to present their scholarly research and creative work, through oral presentations, poster displays, gallery exhibits, or artistic performances.
Entries may be from a class project or assignment, a senior thesis or research project, an independent study, an internship project or a creative project in studio art, creative writing, music, photography, or theater. The work featured can be presented as an individual or group project.
Online Research Fair and Exhibition 2021
Due to the current situation of COVID-19 pandemic, the annual Undergraduate Research Fair and Exhibition at Penn State Scranton will be presented online April 5 – 9, 2021. See the 2020 Undergraduate Research and Exhibition Web Showcase.
We are accepting the following types of research and creative projects.
1. Poster projects (online format)
2. Oral presentations
3. Creative Works
Research Awards
The oral presentations and posters are judged and prizes are awarded for top presentations in each judged category.
In addition, the University Libraries Award recognizes the scholarly work based on a foundation of careful background research and literature review and given to entries that demonstrate excellence in information literacy.
Key Deadlines
Online Registration Forms open February 15, 2021
Registration to participate ends: March 12, 2021
Submission deadline: March 19, 2021
Students will receive a link and instructions via email on how to upload their posters for the web showcase after registration is closed.
