Last month, the Greater Binghamton Chapter, Greater Scranton Chapter, Penn State Worthington Scranton Alumni Society, and the Wayne-Pike Chapter were honored by the Penn State Alumni Association during a special Volunteer Awards ceremony at University Park with the Joint Activities Award.
Penn State Worthington Scranton celebrates Military Appreciation Week with a week full of events aimed at honoring and welcoming veterans. The week will end with a special luncheon featuring PSWS alumnus and veteran Judah Whitney.
Sue Fitch, area representative for PSWS' Center for Business Development and Community Outreach, has been named campus Employee of the Month for November by Dr. Marwan Wafa, chancellor.

The announcement was made by former Scranton mayor Jim Connors at the United Nations Day luncheon hosted by the United Nations Association of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
