Penn State Scranton is once again hosting a series of fun-filled, relaxing events for Stress Busters Week, which will take place Dec. 9-13. Events will feature massage, pet therapy, aromatherapy and other relaxing and other meditative activities designed to relieve stress. Several campus areas will also be offering free refreshments and healthy snacks to give students the extra boost they might need.

On Sunday, Dec. 8, the campus’ three musical ensembles — Penn State Scranton Chorale, Roc[k]tet and Campus Jazz Band — presented their annual Holiday Concert at Grace Bible Church. On Wednesday, Dec. 11, the groups will perform their annual on-campus Holiday Concert at noon in The View Café.
On Sunday, Dec. 8, the Penn State Scranton Chorale, Roc[k]tet and Campus Jazz Band will present their annual Holiday Concert at 4 p.m. at Grace Bible Church, 130 University Drive, Dunmore. A gift to the community, admission to the concert is free for the general public.
Penn State Scranton Chancellor Marwan Wafa has announced that Kathy Stefanelli, counseling services, is the campus' Employee of the Month for December.
Penn State Scranton took home a Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce 2019 SAGE Award for the interior renovations recently completed on the first floor of Dawson. The campus was one of three finalists in the Interior Renovations category. Other finalists were Tobyhanna Army Depot and The Wright Center for Community Health.

Two local representatives for the 2020 Census recently visited Penn State Scranton to discuss the myriad ways in which the campus community can help ensure optimal participation in the country’s once-every-decade population count. The event was part of the campus' Community Event Series, which hosts informational and educational programs throughout the academic year.
