Penn State Scranton Professor of IST Dr. Alan Peslak recently learned he was the recipient of the International Association for Computer Information Systems' 2020 Ben Bauman Award for Excellence. When Penn State switched to remote delivery of its courses due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Penn State Scranton faculty had to rapidly transition how they would teach their classes for the remainder of the spring semester. Thanks to a helping hand from the IT department, who provided training and technology assistance, and a positive attitude, they were able to meet the challenge.
