Celebrated civil rights icon Bettie Mae Fikes, also known as "The Voice of Selma", is this year's keynote speaker at Penn State Scranton's annual Martin Luther King Day celebration.
Penn State Scranton Chancellor Marwan Wafa has announced the Marvin McCloe, maintenance and operations, has been named the campus' January Employee of the Month.

Corporate Communication majors Molly Morgan and Deyniel Desarden-Ruperto were recently inducted into the campus' Lamda Pi Eta honor society. The new inductees were celebrated by Kim Flanders, corporate communication program coordinator, members of the corporate communication club, and members of the Penn State Scranton faculty and staff.
The DeNaples Family Environmental Program Fund at Penn State Scranton has been established thanks to a multi-year gift that will provide hands-on, experiential learning for participating students over the next four decades.
