Campus Hires New Employees and Promotes One

Penn State Worthington Scranton announces the following staff hires and staff promotion at the campus. Amy Gruzesky, Dunmore, is the new Coordinator of Community Relations and Communications for the local campus. A 1990 graduate of Penn State, she previously worked as the joint executive director of the Pike County Chamber of Commerce and the Pike County Industrial Development Authority/PIDCO.

Campus Employees Honored For Years of Service

Penn State Worthington Scranton recently held its annual Staff Service Awards program during a special employee luncheon in the Study Learning Center Cafe.  All campus staff and employees were invited to attend the event and those employees celebrating landmark anniversaries were honored for their years of service to the Worthington Scranton community. Director of Academic Affairs Michael Mahalik presented the awards.  Those employees honored were:  

Six New Facutly Hires Announced

Penn State Worthington Scranton recently welcomed six new faculty members to the campus. Milton Evans, RN, has been hired as an instructor for Worthington Scranton's Nursing Program.  A professional nurse for 26 years, Milton has worked as general staff, and in intensive care, emergency, supervisory, management and perioperative services. He also was a nurse educator for 10 years. He received his MS in Community Health Nursing from Binghamton University, his B.S.

Pambianco Named Alumnus Of The Year

Rick Pambianco, a 1977 graduate of Penn State University and a Penn State Worthington Scranton alumnus, has been named 2007 Alumnus of the Year by the Penn State Worthington Scranton Alumni Society. Mr.
