New Instructor of Nursing hired at Worthington Scranton

Dr. Mary-Beth Krogh-Jespersen, chancellor of Penn State Worthington Scranton, is pleased to announce the addition of Justina Ferguson, MSN, RN, as instructor of nursing at the campus. As a member of the nursing faculty, she will be teaching Pathophysiology II and Clinical for Fundamentals.

Ms. Ferguson received her bachelor's degree in nursing and a master's degree in nursing administration from Marywood University. She is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and has worked in the intensive care unit and as a nursing supervisor at Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton.

She has also worked as a preceptor for new hires in Moses Taylor's intensive care unit and as a member of the Rapid Response Team (RRT) for deteriorating patients and the Cardiac Arrest Team. She is strongly interested in critical care and palliative care nursing.

She resides in Dunmore with her husband Kyle and their pets, a dog and cat.
