Penn State University Police and Public Safety is responsible for protecting and serving more than 100,000 of Penn State’s students, employees and visitors at 22 campuses located throughout Pennsylvania.

Penn State Scranton’s DREAMers Club and Student Disability Services hosted "Project Acceptance By Learning Experience," or Project ABLE, an activity-based learning event that provides opportunities for students to understand what it is like to live with various disabilities.

The Family Business Alliance, regional non-profit organization that operates out of shared space at Penn State Scranton and provides resources and professional programming for regional family-owned businesses in northeast Pa., is celebrating 25 years with an anniversary event on April 25, featuring a panel of accomplished professionals from successful family-owned businesses.
Nursing student Frank Turnbaugh, at right, has received a $1,000 SEN Grant from the University's offices of Undergraduate Education, Student Affairs and Outreach and Online Education, which he will use to gain experience working in the home health arena for the Visiting Nurses Association of Lackawanna County, under the mentorship of Michael Evans, teaching professor and assistant dean of undergraduate nursing education at the commonwealth campuses for the Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing.
