A new bachelor of science degree in information technology will be offered beginning in the fall 2021 semester. The degree will replace the existing bachelor of science degree in information sciences and technology, which will be phased out over the next four years.
Penn State Scranton Chancellor Marwan Wafa has announced the hiring of five new full-time faculty: Khalid Almasloukh, assistant teaching professor of nursing; Kevin Feifer, lecturer in business; Mario Freamat, assistant teaching professor of physics; Arash Nayebzadeh, assistant professor of mechanical engineering; and Andrew Provenzano, assistant professor of psychology.
