Diversity Circles Program
Experiential program for people with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
In a climate where civil discussion is rare, and polarization has become the norm, Penn State Scranton continues to foster and model a non-discriminatory campus environment that is welcoming, safe, and inclusive to our administrators, faculty, staff, students and visitors.
We view differences in ethnic, religious, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds not as an obstacle to be overcome but as an opportunity for learning, understanding and growth.
In that light, we have developed Diversity Circles, an eye-opening experiential program where attendees with diverse backgrounds and experiences can come together to learn from one another how to express and receive opinions contrary to their own and become agents of inclusion and spread the message of acceptance and equality in our communities.
