DUNMORE, Pa. — Prospective students and their families are invited to learn about the numerous educational opportunities at Penn State Scranton during its upcoming “Spend a Summer Evening” visit from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 2, in the Study Learning Center.
During their visit, prospective students and their families will learn about the campus degree offerings, including the two- and four-year degrees that can be completed at Penn State Scranton in areas of study such as business, corporate communication, mechanical engineering, project and supply chain management, nursing, information technology, psychology and more.
Attendees will also hear about the more than 275 Penn State degrees that can be started at Penn State Scranton and completed at University Park or another Penn State campus as part of the 2+2 Plan.
“Our Spend a Summer Evening Open House is a great opportunity to collect information from faculty about our academic programs and staff about admissions, financial aid and all of our support and co-curricular opportunities,” Assistant Director of Enrollment Management Terri Caputo said. “More importantly, it’s a great opportunity to tour our campus, talk to current students and just get that Penn State Scranton feel!”
In addition, visitors will receive information about the admission and financial aid processes, as well as ways to get involved on campus. Guests will also have the opportunity to explore Penn State Scranton’s campus during a tour led by current students.
Those who attend Spend a Summer Evening are eligible for a $65.00 application fee waiver.
Register by visiting Penn State Scranton’s admissions webpage. Prospective students may also reach out to admissions staff via email at [email protected] or call 570-963-2500.
