Our student- athlete leaders play a pivotal role in athletics as they represent student-athletes in student government, clubs and organizations, PSUAC?USCAA Student-athlete advisory committees, volunteering and community service and staffing at athletic events! These student-athletes lead on and off the court or field, on campus and in the community!
KINESIOLOGY CREDIT: Student-athletes earn 2 credits in one semester participating in varsity sports by attending an instructional supplemental course during their first season
PRIORITY SCHEDULING: Student-athletes have the opportunity to schedule courses early for the following semester to assist with time management
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS: Students get the small college individual attention while being able to compete for national championship in the USCAA
INTRAMURALS/OPEN RECREATION: All students are welcome to use the facilities for fitness and intramural sports during set hours for open recreation.
Penn State Scranton Athletics develops connections with student-support servces to better support individual, academic, career, social and athletic growth & development.
Our student athletes averaged over a 3.0 GPA this spring for all teams with 70% earning conference academic awards and 40% earning dean's list.
Academic Game Plan: Varsity athletes participate in team study tables and academic monitoring with focused assitance for tutoring, time management, priority scheduling and class excuse forms.
