Students look through a selection of "banned" books available for check out at the PSWS library. The display featured books that have historically been banned in libraries or schools across the country. Library staff covered the books in brown paper and wrote clues on the covers hinting at the content. Meant to encourage students to expand their reading repertoire, it was part of the PSWS Library's series of events celebrating national Banned Books Week.
Actor and comedian Dave Coulier performs at Penn State Worthington Scranton last Friday. The comedian entertained a crowd of several hundred people, including PSWS students, staff, faculty and community residents.
The University will hold a Town Hall meeting 3-5 p.m. Sept. 28 in the Pavilion Theatre at University Park. The meeting will be livestreamed and available for all Penn State campuses to view.
Comedian Dave Coulier, best known for his role as Uncle Joey on the TV series Full House and Fuller House, will perform his stand-up comedy act Friday, Sept. 23 at Penn State Worthington Scranton.
