Penn State plans to resume on-campus work and learning in fall semester

Following a three-month comprehensive planning process, Penn State officials have determined that the University can meet or exceed the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s guidelines for colleges and universities, and look forward to welcoming back faculty, staff and students to resume on-campus, in-person classes and other activities this fall in a limited fashion.

In May, Moscow resident Chris LaRosa became the first graduate of Penn State Scranton's Project and Supply Chain Management (PSCM) degree program. He recently began work as a project controller with the U.S. Department of Defense at Tobyhanna Army Depot.

 Penn State Scranton Professor of IST Dr. Alan Peslak recently learned he was the recipient of the International Association for Computer Information Systems' 2020 Ben Bauman Award for Excellence. In addition, he was reappointed to serve as University College IST discipline coordinator for the 2020-21 academic year.
