Students are being asked to submit their research projects for inclusion in this year's annual Undergraduate Research Fair and Exhibition, which will be held virtually this year. Students can submit projects now through March 12, 2021.
This spring, Penn State Scranton will once again showcase the wide-ranging scholarly and creative talents of its students at the annual Undergraduate Research Fair and Exhibition, scheduled for the week of April 5-9. The event will once again be presented as an Online Web Showcase due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
At 7 p.m. on Monday, March 1, Cristen Conger and Caroline Ervin from Unladylike Media will discuss the intersection of the feminist movement, #MeToo, and the Abolition Movement, with a discussion of how feminism and white womanhood have pushed up against racial equity historically through present day. Penn State Scranton students Olivia Maikranz, Holly Oppelt, Harshil Patel and Ella Maquito will represent Penn State Scranton as dancers in this year's virtual THON Weekend, which will take place from 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21.
