Assistant Director of Learning and Disability Services Eileen Giovagnoli and Disability and Learning Services Specialist Matthew Smith encourage any students needing a little extra help with their studies to contact them in the campus' Learning and Writing Center in the SLC's Student Success Center, where they offer academic coaching to students that address a variety of academic areas.

Penn State Scranton art student Jordan Coles created this painting of a yellow sunflower on a sky blue background with a vibrant blue butterfly flying near the top, which was donated to VAST and auctioned off at its VOICES fundraiser this winter, benefitting victims of human trafficking. Coles looked to the fundraiser's theme, "Whispers of Restoration," and the organization's signature colors as inspiration for the piece.

Nese College of Nursing hosts Jean Vallance/WE LEAD Inspirational Leader Lecture

Taura L. Barr, associate professor of clinical nursing at Ohio State University’s College of Nursing, will be the speaker at the Penn State Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing's 2023  joint Jean Vallance Lecture in Nursing Innovation/WE LEAD Inspirational Leader Speaker Series on Friday, March 31, at the Wyndham Garden State College. The lecture will be offered in-person as well as via webinar.
