Some of the published campus authors that were represented and attended the recent Authors' Reception at Penn State Scranton included: Student Engagement and Outreach Librarian Molly Abdalla, the event organizer; Associate Professor of Physics Agnes Kim; Assistant Teaching Professor of Communication Arts and Sciences James Hart; Associate Professor of Human Development and Family Studies Raymond Petren; Associate Professor of English Eva Tettenborn; Assistant Teaching Professor of Nursing Khalid Almasloukh; Reference and Instruction Librarian Kristin Green; and Assistant Teaching Professor of History Paul Frisch.
Penn State Scranton Library's recent Authors' Reception highlighted published works by campus faculty and staff with an in-person presentation, as well as physical display of hard copies of the authors' published pieces set up atop display cases in the main area of the campus' library building. More than 25 campus authors were featured, having published 100 scholarly works.

More than 25 faculty and staff and 100 published works were featured during the event and in a static display set up throughout the main area of the library.
