Dr. P. Douglas Sellers II, assistant professor of psychology at Penn State Worthington Scranton, recently presented at the local Visiting Nurse Association's Lunch and Learn Series.
Students look through a selection of "banned" books available for check out at the PSWS library. The display featured books that have historically been banned in libraries or schools across the country. Library staff covered the books in brown paper and wrote clues on the covers hinting at the content. Meant to encourage students to expand their reading repertoire, it was part of the PSWS Library's series of events celebrating national Banned Books Week.
