During the popular Coding Camp, taught by campus information sciences and technology lecturer and program co-coordinator Fred Aebli, kids ages 9-12 learned how to create their own animated shorts, which they presented to family members at week’s end.
Instructor Julie Cardillo used Legos to teach kids about motors, pulleys, levers, axles and other things that make modern machines go. For one of their projects, the kids teamed up to build functioning Lego windmills. Creative Lego Engineering Camp is for kids ages 6-8.
