Jordan Aebli, a forensics interviewer and family advocate at the Children’s Advocacy Center of NEPA, graduated from Penn State Scranton with a four-year degree in Psychology, that included a focus in Neuroscience.
After graduating in 2016, Jordan enrolled in graduate school at Marymount University in Arlington, VA. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Forensic and Legal Psychology in May of 2018.
Jordan, who is also an adjunct professor in the Psychology department at Penn State Scranton, attributes her success to both her graduate and undergraduate education from two incredible Universities.
Jordan says, “If I did not obtain the wonderful education at Penn State Scranton and have the privilege of learning from so many wonderful professors, I truly do not think I would be where I am today.”
Carbondale native Robert F. Beard, executive vice president of natural gas for UGI Corp. and president and CEO of UGI Utilities, Inc., attended Penn State Scranton before going on to earn his bachelor’s degree in petroleum and natural gas engineering from University Park in 1989.
Kristi Farinelli, an eight-year employee of global technology company IBM, attended Penn State Scranton before graduating from University Park in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications and a minor in information sciences and technology (IST).

Penn State Scranton Alumni Vincent Sorgi, president and COO at Allentown-based PPL Corp., attended Penn State Scranton before going on to receive his bachelor’s degree in accounting from University Park in 1993.
