The Penn State Scranton Library has created an inclusive display for Black History Month that includes a schedule of events, along with historical and popular books, and DVDs that students can check out and enjoy. 

The Faculty Senate of Penn State Scranton serves as the sole legislative body representing the Penn State Scranton faculty as a whole.

Guests at the campus' Veterans Holiday Dinner were treated to a buffet of traditional holiday foods that included ham, turkey, and pumpkin pie. Students set up the buffet and helped serve the veterans and their guests.

New student group, Young Republicans, spearheaded a special holiday dinner for area vets this holiday season aimed at making the holidays more joyous for them and their families. The event was held on campus in The View cafe and attended by about 200 veterans and their guests.

Students from Penn State got the opportunity to interact directly with children and observe them at play.

Children were free to create anything they could invent with the materials on hand.

The pop-up playground gave children the opportunity to be creative and play using easily found materials.
