Crews from Penn State's Office of Physical Plant (OPP) were out early on the morning of February 12 plowing and salting roads and sidewalks as snow and sleet blanketed the University Park campus.
Penn State Scranton's Professor of Information Sciences and Technology Alan Peslak has been named the 2025 Computer Educator of the Year by the International Association for Computer Information Systems (IACIS). He received his award at IACIS's annual conference in Pensacola, Florida.

Each campus building now has hydration stations to promote sustainability and encourage hydration. The use of these stations helps the campus reduce plastic bottle waste, as students can fill their personal water bottles, and is an eco-friendly way to stay hydrated.
