How do I enroll in the 1+2+1 Nursing Program?

Step 1: Apply to Penn State Scranton.   
Step 2: Upon admission, you must meet with an adviser to enroll in the following courses:

Step 3: Before or during your second semester at Scranton, you must apply to the Jersey College RN program. Students must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher.   

Step 4: Upon successfully completing your first two semesters at Scranton, you will then attend Jersey College and complete coursework to earn an associate degree in nursing over the next two years.

Once you complete your classes at Jersey College, you will be eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN exam to obtain your RN license. After passing the licensure exam, you will re-enroll at Penn State Scranton.

Step 5: Contact the Office of the Registrar to learn about Re-enrolling. at Penn State Scranton to complete your last year.
