DUNMORE, Pa. — Jennifer "Jen" Oshinski, regional human resources consultant at Penn State Scranton, has been named the campus' September Employee of the Month.
Marwan Wafa, Penn State Scranton chancellor, made the announcement to the campus.
In the nominations for Oshinski, Gene Grogan, director of business services wrote: "Jen has been extremely helpful in assisting us during the WorkLion transition process since last December. She has been our “go to” person for helping our technical service staff through training sessions and helping to resolve some of the discrepancies."
Finance Officer Kim Bogdan stated: "Jen was instrumental in the implementation of WorkDay. As a new employee she hit the ground running and has become a valuable resource to the campus.
"I have witnessed Jen in action with others and can personally attest to how helpful she is as we have worked together navigating the WorkDay processes."
The Employee of the Month recognition was initiated in 2016 by Wafa as a way of distinguishing staff members who "go above and beyond the call of duty" in serving Penn State Scranton.
Congratulations, Jen!
