DUNMORE, Pa. -- Wayne Frutchey, a technical services employee in Penn State Worthington Scranton's maintenance and operations department, has been named the December employee of the month by Chancellor Marwan Wafa.
In being nominated, it was noted that Frutchey has been with the campus for just two years, but has proven himself to be a very dependable, reliable and hard-working member of the technical services staff.
He continues to think of more ways to work more effectively and efficiently, according to his nomination; and he is someone who is always willing to help out, even stopping what he is currently doing to assist when asked.
The Employee of the Month recognition was created by Wafa as a way of distinguishing campus staff who "go above and beyond the call of duty" in serving Penn State Worthington Scranton.
