DUNMORE, Pa. — The Penn State Worthington Scranton Alumni Society's annual Breakfast with the Nittany Lion will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, April 2, in The View Cafe, in the campus' Study Learning Center.
The public is invited. Society members and volunteers will serve a hearty breakfast of scrambled eggs, pancakes and sausage, along with juice and coffee.
There will also be lion-paw tattoos, puzzles and balloons for the children and plenty of opportunities to meet and take photos with the Penn State Nittany Lion.
The annual breakfast is one of several fundraising activities the PSWS Alumni Society organizes each year. The alumni have funded student scholarships, supported the Student Hardship Fund, and donated to campus projects including the Nittany Lion statue at the campus entrance, Business Building, Science Suite, David and Ann Hawk Student Success Center, and Athletic Fields Renovation.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12, and can be purchased from any PSWS Alumni Society member or by calling 570-963-2536. Tickets will also be available at the door.
