Rob Notari, a system administrator in the campus' Information Technology Department, has been named the PSWS Employee of the Month for May, 2016.
Notari, a campus alumnus, has been employed at Penn State Worthington Scranton since 1995.
He was nominated by IT Director Marilee Mulvey, who said: "Rob works tirelessly, and always with a smile, to ensure our campus systems are functioning at high levels. Not only is Rob willing to assist a community member in need, he also mentors his work study students as they learn and grow in the IT field. Rob understands the value of building a supportive atmosphere for our campus community, and his recommendations on places to go, to eat, or see in the local community are an added bonus to any IT work request he fulfills!"
The Employee of the Month recognition was started earlier this year by Chancellor Marwan Wafa, as a way of distinguishing staff members who "go above and beyond the call of duty" in serving Penn State Worthington Scranton.
