SKYWARN Spotter Training

Television station WYOU and The National Weather Service will train a team of Skywarn spotters on Thursday, April 27th at 7:30 PM in Room 14 of the Dawson Building.

Skywarn spotters are weather enthusiasts trained to report potentially life threatening weather and storm damage to both the National Weather Service and the news and weather team at WYOU.  Skywarn spotters are an essential cog in the whole forecast process, providing real-time, on the ground reporting.   The class is free and open to the public.
