Each year, the Greater Scranton Penn State Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association awards scholarships to students at Penn State Worthington Scranton, recognizing outstanding scholastic achievement.
The recipients of this year's Greater Scranton Penn State Chapter's scholarship are: Davendra Chatterpaul, Scranton; Kasey Flyte, Springbrook Twp., and Jesse Lick, Montdale. These students met Chapter officers at Penn State Worthington Scranton's annual scholarship reception, held recently at St. Mary's Center in Scranton.
Each year, Penn State Worthington Scranton hosts a reception to honor scholarship donors and recipients and provide the recipients and their families an opportunity to meet the donors of the scholarships that they have received.
