Phil Grosz appearance rescheduled due to impending snowstorm

The Greater Scranton Penn State Chapter has rescheduled its annual Phil Grosz appearance, due to the impending snowstorm expected to hit our area on Friday.

Originally scheduled for Feb. 8, the group has now announced that the new date for the event will be Friday, March 8.

Phil Grosz, owner/editor of the Blue White Illustrated, has been the guest of the Greater Scranton Penn State Chapter for the past 29 years and will return again this year for his 30th annual chat about Penn State football and to review the incoming class of Nittany Lion players. He will also conduct a question and answer session with the audience.

Each year, hundreds of Penn State football fans attend his presentation.

Mr. Grosz's presentation begins at 7 p.m. in the campus' Multi-Purpose Building (gymnasium). Admission is free for chapter members or $15 for non-members. Memberships will be available at the door that evening. Light refreshments will be provided.

Doors open at 6 p.m. so those attending are encouraged to arrive early, as there is no reserved seating.
