A free Children's Health Fair will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Penn State Worthington Scranton's Multi-Purpose Building.
Sponsored by Worthington Scranton's Nursing Department, and funded through a grant from the Robert Y. Moffat Family Charitable Trust, the fair will bring together a variety of health care providers/professionals and other organizations and individuals that offer services that promote the safety and well-being of young children.
The Children's Health Fair is geared toward children ages 5 through 12. Those attending will be able to take advantage of a variety of demonstrations and services, including:

· First Aid
· Fun with Reading
· Pet Safety
· Effective Hand-Washing Demo
· Healthy Eating
· Scoliosis Screening - Back Safety
· Dental Hygiene
· Fire Safety - "Smoke House"
· Fire Truck Tour
· Ambulance Tour
· Sun & Skin Safety
· Community Resources
· Parenting Tips/Relationship Check-ups
· Height, Weight & Blood Pressure Screenings
· Children's Advocacy Center
Children will also receive a free PSU drawstring backpack and be eligible for special prizes.
