Campus hosts first annual Adjunct Faculty Meet and Greet event

Faculty and staff kicked off the Fall 2013 semester off with a special Adjunct Faculty Meet and Greet event that brought together new and returning adjunct and full-time faculty, along with staff and administrators, to enhance networking and communication among all campus employees and departments.

The event was attended by close to 100 individuals and consisted of welcoming remarks and presentations by Dr. Mary-Beth Krogh-Jespersen, chancellor; Dr. Charles Patrick, chief academic officer; Michael Evans, assistant chief academic officer; and Griff Lewis, instructional designer.

The new event was organized by Mr. Evans, with the assistance of Suzanne Morgan, administrative support assistance to academic affairs, with the goal of introducing adjunct faculty to their full-time counterparts, as well as administrators and staff.

Adjunct faculty in attendance took time at the end of the event to pose for a group photo, shown here in the upper left corner of the page.
