Stephanie A. Orzalek Hopkins has joined the Admissions Department at Penn State Worthington Scranton as an Enrollment Services Specialist.
In her new position, Ms. Orzalek will provide consultation to prospective and current students and their families; represent Penn State Worthington Scranton at recruitment events; provide advisement on admissions/enrollment processes; conduct campus visitation programs; evaluate student applications for admission to the University; monitor, track and report on admissions-related statistics; coordinate with other University departments to provide needed services to potential and current students; and coordinate programs with high schools and community groups.
A graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, she had been previously employed at Entercom Communications as a sales administration manager, and had worked there previously as a sales executive. She also served as development and marketing manager at the Scranton Cultural Center; and manager of annual giving at Johnson College.
Ms. Orzalek HopkinsĀ has presented at the Blackbaud Conference in Washington, D.C. and at the District II CASE Conference in Pittsburgh. She is a member of the Greater Scranton Penn State Chapter and the Penn State Alumni Association.
She lives in Old Forge with her husband, Larry, and their three rescue kittens Bart, Gatsby and Poppy.
