Kinesiology students to host geocaching info session with DCNR

On Tuesday, Oct. 13 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., PSWS Senior Kinesiology Instructor Gina Gray, and students from her Outdoor Pursuits class, will hold an informational session on the basics of geocaching at PSWS, with participants learning about this new recreational activity by trying to find a cache hidden on campus.

In geocaching, participants use a hand-held GPS to hide and find containers, called geocaches or caches, anywhere in the world.

A representative from the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) will also be present to talk about this latest outdoor activity that continues to grow in popularity around the world.

All members of the campus community are invited to attend this demonstration.
