WYOMISSING, Pa. — Ten Penn State organizations will co-sponsor the 12th annual Penn State Day at Knoebels Amusement Park in Elysburg, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, May 20. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. at Pavilion M. The program will begin at 11 a.m., which includes lunch, a performance by the Alumni Blue Band, an appearance by the Nittany Lion, and prize raffles. This event is open to Penn State alumni, family and friends. The 2022 event was attended by more than 400 people.
Several ticket options are available and attendees must register in advance here by May 8. Tickets for attendees five years of age and older are $26.50, which includes lunch and a $10 food/ride ticket booklet. The cost for children ages four and under is $16 and includes lunch and a $10 food/ride ticket. A “lunch only” ticket can be purchased for $16 and does not include a food/ride ticket booklet. The prize raffle is included with all tickets.
This event is hosted by the Penn State Berks, Hazleton, Scranton and Wilkes-Barre alumni societies, as well as the the Berks County, Greater Hazleton, Greater Scranton, Greater Susquehanna Valley, Schuylkill and Wyoming Valley chapters of the Penn State Alumni Association.
This year, there will be a fundraiser for campus student food pantries. Attendees are asked to help support students by purchasing $10 gift cards to Aldi, Dollar Tree, Giant Food Stores, Target, Walmart and Weis Markets. Gift cards will be evenly distributed among the participating campus’ food pantries.
