Visit Penn State Scranton and we'll waive the application fee when you apply!
The application fee waiver applies only to students interested in an undergraduate degree. Penn State Scranton does not offer the fee waiver for graduate programs.
How to Get Your Application Fee Waived
For Undergraduate Applicants Only:
If you’re using MyPennState to apply:
- Register for an admissions visit and visit us!
- Learn how to apply through the My Penn State portal.
- If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will be directed to waive your fee directly within the application. If you do not see this option, please email your full name and Penn State user ID to the campus admissions office at [email protected].
- After your application fee is waived, complete and submit your application through MyPennState.
If you're using the Common App?
- Register for a visit or schedule an appointment with an admissions counselor.
- Fill out the Common App but do not enter payment information when prompted.
- Contact the campus admissions office by email [email protected] or phone 570-963-2500 for next steps to receiving your fee waiver.
