A new tool is being offered at Penn State Scranton to help students gain important financial literacy skills. Available in the Admissions office (Dawson 5) are several financial wellness resources provided by the Penn State Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center. Students can take, read and return or keep different books about making smart money choices.
Penn State Scranton's Human Development and Family Studies faculty welcomed its first officers and members into the campus' Kappa Omicron Nu honor society, during a special induction ceremony held on campus last semester. Pen State Scranton will hold its annual Designer Purse Bingo on Sunday, February 2, 2024 at the Holiday Inn Dunmore, located at 200 Tigue Street, Dunmore, PA 18512. Tickets are $30 or four for $100 in advance. Doors open at 1 p.m. and the bingo games begin at 3 p.m. All proceeds benefit THON, which raises money to fight pediatric cancer.
