The ultra-modern Engineering Building, both efficient and aesthetically pleasing, includes a mechatronics lab, mechanical engineering lab, pod-style computer lab, study pods for privacy and collaborative classroom spaces.

Classroom 103 in the engineering Building is a 25 seat classroom with moveable chairs that allow an instructor to configure the room in the best instructional layout for their needs. Desks can easily be moved into collaborative group configurations or be arranged in a more traditional lecture-style layout using rows.

Dr. Mizanoor Rahman, assistant professor of mechanical engineering instructs students on making a smart device in the Mechatronics Lab at Penn State Scranton. Mechatronics is a fusion of mechanical, electronics, coding, and artificial intelligence using equipment such as Arduinos, Robots, etc.

Dr. Abraham S. Tchako, assistant professor of mechanical engineering and student chat before class while they wait for other students to enter the computer lab in the Engineering Building. The pod-style lab, for collaborative learning, is equipped with state of art ANSYS software, SolidWorks and MS Office.
