Give Back to Your Community
Volunteering allows you to connect to your community and make it a better place. Dedicating your time as a volunteer also helps you make new friends, expand your network, and boost your social skills.
At Penn State Scranton, we understand the importance of volunteerism so we offer a number of ways for our students to get involved and contribute to the community. We welcome opportunities to help make our communities stronger while building student connections and skills.

Alternative Spring Break
Penn State Students use their spring break week to help families whose homes were devastated by natural disasters. The campus partnered with Community Collaborations International in past years for help victims in Texas and North Carolina. The Spring 2020 Break trip to Puerto Rico has been postponed due to the Covin-19 pandemic.
