Give Back to Your Community
Volunteering allows you to connect to your community and make it a better place. Dedicating your time as a volunteer also helps you make new friends, expand your network, and boost your social skills.
At Penn State Scranton, we understand the importance of volunteerism so we offer a number of ways for our students to get involved and contribute to the community. We welcome opportunities to help make our communities stronger while building student connections and skills.

Volunteer during Spring Break
Penn State students looking to volunteer and make a difference while enjoying time off from school can take part in what has become known as Alternative Spring Break. An alternative spring break allows students to serve their community in a meaningful way and meet new people while doing it.
