The Penn State Worthington Scranton Alumni Society's annual Breakfast with the Nittany Lion will take place Sunday, April 3, from 9 a.m. to noon in The View Cafe, in the campus' Study Learning Center.
Society members and volunteers will serve up a hearty breakfast of scrambled eggs, pancakes and sausage, along with juice and coffee. There will also be lion paw tattoos, coloring books for the children and opportunities to meet and take your photo with the Nittany Lion.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12, and can be purchased from any PSWS Alumni Society member or by calling 570-963-2536.
The annual breakfast is one of several fundraising activities the PSWS Alumni Society organizes each year. The alumni have funded student scholarships, supported the Student Hardship Fund, and donated to campus projects including the Nittany Lion statue at the campus entrance, the Business Building, Science Suite, David and Ann Hawk Student Success Center, and Athletic Fields Renovation.
